Jinggangshan University (JGSU), founded in 1958, is located in Ji’an City, Jiangxi Province, near the historic Jinggangshan revolutionary site. Renamed as Jinggangshan University in October 2007, it is a state-run institution known for its rich history and comprehensive undergraduate education.
The university spans four campuses covering 2,440 acres, with a building area of approximately 680,000 square meters. Its teaching and research equipment is valued at around 310 million RMB, and the library holds over 2.16 million books. JGSU also has a “tertiary level” affiliated hospital.
Currently, the university has over 1,600 faculty members, including 129 professors and 409 associate professors. It boasts 69 doctorate candidates and 611 master’s degree holders. JGSU comprises 15 teaching departments and 3 management colleges, offering 80 undergraduate majors in fields such as economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and arts.
The university enrolls students in 66 majors, 13 of which are included in key enrollment batches. Students come from 31 provinces, municipalities, autonomous regions, and regions like Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan. With more than 17,000 full-time undergraduate students and over 10,000 adult education students, JGSU maintains high voluntary admission scores. It also offers a postgraduate pilot program in social work, currently hosting 95 graduate students.

Criteria & Eligibility:
- The qualified applicant should be over 18-Year-Old and under 25-Year-Old.
- The minimum marks of all subjects should be 60% or above.
Special notes:
- According to the current policy, HSK-4 is required in 1st Year. (it may change later)
- All fees should be paid to authorized liaison office of JGSU according to above mentioned fee details.
- If any student decides to transfer or withdraw, the paid fees will not be returned or transferred.
- All fees mentioned above should be paid in Chinese Yuan (USD to Yuan exchange rate fluctuates everyday).
- After arrival at campus all students must live in the accommodation provided by the University.
- Books, food, bedding accessories, room electricity, internet, any other miscellaneous fee and other self-expenses are not included in above fees.
- All students must obey rules & regulations of JGSU and Government of China.
